Dates are
HCA sponsored activities / socials. Calendar does not include
any sanctioned events or activities for surrounding clubs.
CONCOURS: The Concours was designed to
produce a showing of individual refined examples of all automotive marquees.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE CAR SHOW: This event is a non-judged
Corvette show at which spectators can vote for their favorite Corvette - no
stress, just fun events!
RALLY: An event in which the Corvette is driven on
public highways and requiring the navigator to follow a specified route and
other instructions.
FUNKHANA: An event that is a low speed autocross like
event with an added feature of a navigator to assist the driver and a
variety of gimmicks that the driver and/or navigator must perform in order
to successfully complete a run.
LOW SPEED TIME TRAILS (autocross): An event in which
the Corvette is driven around a course (not on public highways and not wheel
to wheel) in such a fashion as to set the quickest time for the course.
Large isolated parking lots are often used.
HIGH SPEED TIMED TRIALS: An event in which the
Corvette is driven on one of the road-racing circuits (not wheel to wheel)
in such a fashion as to set the quickest time for the circuit.
DRAG RACING: A wheel to wheel event in which the
acceleration capability of the Corvette is determined in the 1/8 or 1/4 mile
at established drag racing tracks.
